Foundation and Endowment Asset Management Programme (next offered: 17-22 June 2007)

The flagship of the Initiative is the Foundation & Endowment Asset Management (FEAM) Programme.  This course addresses the management of endowment and other long-term pools of capital, and is taught by a distinguished international faculty.

Topics in Asset Management Course (next offered: Mondays, 23 April - 18 June 2007)

The Topics in Asset Management course has a major emphasis on the management of assets for endowments and foundations.  Offered to MBA and MIF (Masters in Finance) students at London Business School, participants have rated it between 4 and 5 on the School's 1–5 feedback scale in every year it has been offered. At this year's Summer Congregation, Topics in Asset Management was recognised through a teaching award for the innovatory nature of the course; no other elective, this year or last, has been honoured in this way.

London Business School – Nuffield Foundation Seminars

In partnership with the Nuffield Foundation, a quarterly series of seminars for foundations were held in 2005 and 2006.  Attended by 30–40 chief executives, investment officers and trustees from Britain's largest charitable endowments, the seminars focus on distribution strategies, investment strategies, risk, governance, and long term returns. London Business School – UK Society of Investment Professional Seminars

In 2005 and 2006, in partnership with the UK Society of Investment Professionals, annual seminars were held at the offices of the Society. The events were well supported by practitioners from the industry, with over 40 individuals in attendance. Commonfund: The Endowment Institute Seminars

Jointly with Professor Will Goetzmann, Elroy Dimson co-directs the Commonfund's Endowment Institute seminars held at the Yale School of Management.

MGI: The 7th Annual Global Family Office Conference

Shanta Acharya is taking the message of the Endowment Asset Management research to a wider audience. She is speaking at conferences overseas such as Management Global Information's 7th Annual Global Family Office Conference in Geneva.
