In classes such as Understanding Entrepreneurial Management, New Venture Development and Managing the Growing Business, our students work on real-life business ideas and businesses.

If you have an idea that needs feasibility testing, a business plan that needs developing, or a small business with an issue you'd like consultancy on, our students can tackle this for you in class. You'll also benefit from feedback from our world-class faculty.

Entrepreneurship Summer School (ESS)
Our summer school gives entrepreneurs the chance to test the feasibility of their ideas through research into their proposed markets. They can also learn what it will take to turn their great ideas into fundable businesses.

Sussex Place Ventures
Sussex Place Ventures Ltd has raised venture capital funds of £12.6 million to finance early stage ventures. It provides seed capital and access to development finance for technology and service businesses that spring directly from London Business School and its networks.

Student projects
Understanding Entrepreneurial Management (UEM)
In this class students work on assessing the feasibility of an idea, applying a variety of research and analysis techniques and benefiting from continuous feedback on the project throughout the term.
New Venture Development (NVD)
The end result of a term's work in a New Venture Development class is a fully developed business plan. Students work on all aspects of the plan, including competitor analysis, financials, marketing and strategy.
Managing the Growing Business (MGB)
In this class, teams of students take on consultancy roles in growing entrepreneurial businesses, applying knowledge gained throughout the term to real-life young business problems and challenges.
