Where will Proteus take you? Proteus Programme Overview
Sunday evening: Orientation Session

The main activity on this first evening is the beginning of a series of workshops. You will take part in a personal mapping exercise enabling you to share your leadership challenges with fellow participants. These workshops ensure that your learning connects with your own personal goals and challenges.
Monday - Human Design.
What sort of animal are we? The limits to future change are set, in part, by how evolution has shaped the fundamentals of human design and functioning. Following an introduction to the ideas of evolutionary psychology, you will undertake your first encounter in the field, in the company of eminent biological scientists.
Tuesday - Global Development.
The world is in a period of intense and rapid transition through the forces of globalisation. You will review global trends and prospects in the context of economic, political, demographic and environmental change. You will discover some of these themes in action through the experience of an historical walking tour of one of London´s most transformed districts.
Wednesday - Scientific Discovery.
Part of this day will be spent at a centre of new technology. Through discussions with inventors, scientists and entrepreneurs, you will explore how inventive processes and conceptions can overcome barriers and obstacles to achieve successful adoption and implementation. You will consider how the process of scientific discovery can be integrated with business processes to drive economic development and innovation.
Thursday - Creative Spirit.
Artistic creation and display are fundamental to being human and are key practices in adaptation and change. You will use the visual arts to examine key themes in the creative process and later in the day you will use the dramatic arts as a vehicle for investigating creativity in action.
Friday - The Leadership Legacy.
Before moving on to the final field encounters, you will consider the role of leaders as agents of renewal, cultural navigators, and creators of value. At the National Portrait Gallery you will examine the historical representation of leadership. Secondly, you will visit a school, providing you with a unique opportunity to exchange with young people about conceptions of leadership and aspirations for future generations.
Saturday morning - Personal Path Finding.
The last morning is devoted to the final workshop – an autobiographical lifeline exercise. Proteus aims to help you to examine your own life journey and how it relates to your future development. This acts as the springboard for implementing your action plan post Proteus.
