Student Projects
In classes such as Understanding Entreprenerial Management, New Venture Development and Managing the Growing Businessour students work on real life business ideas and businesses. If you have an idea that needs feasibility testing or a business plan developing, or a small business with an issue you'd appreciate some consultancy on, our students could be tackling this for you in class, and you'll also benefit from the feedback from our world-class faculty. Business Plan Services
Business Plan Services' collaboration with the London Business School reinforces its position within the commercial marketplace as the UK's leading practice that is dedicated to providing full assistance with business planning.
The Enterprise 100 was launched in 1999, and has evolved to become a fundamental central pillar to support a two-way bridge between what is happening in the classroom, the School's successful entrepreneurs, and the business community at large.
Entrepreneurship Summer School
The Summer School is designed to promote thorough exploration of a business opportunity in a practical format. Individual entrepreneurs will test the feasibility of their ideas through active research in their proposed markets and learn what it will take to turn their great ideas into fundable businesses. Social Enterprise Initiatives
Education through the GSVC Symposium, weekend of social enterprise education and inspiration and the Social Return on Investment Primer, an accessible and informative web-based tool that uses video and text to help you build an understanding of the basic principles of how social and /or environmental value can be measured and valued in monetary terms.

Sussex Place Ventures
Sussex Place Ventures Ltd has raised venture capital funds of £12.6 million to finance early stage ventures, providing seed capital and access to development finance for technology and service businesses arising directly from London Business School and its networks. Successes to date include Iglu.com, APR Smartlogik, TM Property Services, PrePay Technologies, Mobileum Inc, Servista, and Flexecutive plus a number of very early stage technology ventures.
Understanding Entrepreneurial Management (UEM)
In this course students work on assessing the feasibility of an idea, utilising a variety of research and analysis techniques and benefiting from continuous feedback on the project throughout the term.
New Venture Development (NVD)
The end result of a term's work in a New Venture Development class is a fully developed business plan. Students work on all aspects, including competitor analysis, financials, marketing, strategy and more.
Managing the Growing Business (MGB)
In this course teams of students take on consultancy roles in small businesses, applying their knowledge gained throughout the term to real life young business problems and challenges.
