How to apply

Important admissions information

We are aware that due to internet connection problems in the Middle East region, you may be experiencing difficulty in accessing and/or submitting your online application.

Please be reassured that because this circumstance is beyond your and our control, applications submitted after the February deadline will be reviewed. Please ensure your referees are made aware of this situation.

When we have further information, we will update this webpage.

We wish you every success with your application.

Submitting an application

We have a rolling admissions process which means you do not have to wait until the deadline before receiving a decision on your application - the earlier you apply, the earlier you receive a decision.

In most cases, you will receive a final decision within six weeks of submitting your completed application. It is important for you to submit a completed application as priority for waitlist places is given to those who have.

Reference letters
Download and print out two copies of the reference form (download word doc 1MB) and give one copy to each of your chosen referees. References must be provided on this form only (also downloaded as part of the paper application form). One must be from your line manager at your current employer; the other from someone who has taught you at college or university. If you can´t provide an academic reference we ask that you select another referee who can testify to your academic and professional abilities. For example a Training Manager or HR Director, failing that, your most recent former employer. Please note that references must be in English or sent with a translation.

Academic transcripts or certificates
Download and print out the transcript request form (download word doc 1MB) to send to your institution requesting a transcript of your university grades. Where transcripts are not in English, a certified translation must be provided.

A completed application form needs to be accompanied by the application fee of £120. You can download the application fee payment form (download word doc 1MB) as a Word document or pay online when submitting an online application.

Waivers
If you have a professional accounting qualification, or if you have a Masters degree in economics, you may choose to waive out of the Accounting or Economics core courses on the Dubai-London Executive MBA. Waivers are judged on a case-by-case basis.

Admissions process

Receipt of the application form will be acknowledged. All applications are reviewed within two weeks of receipt by the Dubai-London Programme Office. This initial review ensures that, on paper, a candidate not only meets our admissions requirements but also demonstrates management potential.

After the review, candidates are informed whether they have been selected for interview.

Following the interview, decisions are made by the Admissions Committee, based on feedback from interviewers and the candidates' files. The decisions are communicated to candidates by the Admissions Manager, usually within one working week.

Successful applicants will have up to two weeks to let us know if they wish to accept our offer. A commitment fee of $4,000 will secure a place on the programme.
